ingredients:

• 2 slices brioche bread
• 2 pieces of semi-sweet chocolate
• 1 egg
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 tbsp butter
• a generous scoop of Pistakio Crunchy Pistachio Spread
• melted chocolate or nutella, chopped pistachios, whipped cream for garnish
• 1-2 tbsp of Pistakio OG Creamy Pistachio Spread (optional but encouraged)

instructions:

1. make a slit in the top of the brioche slices, insert the piece of chocolate, and set aside.
2. in a small bowl, combine the egg, milk, and vanilla and whisk to combine. dip the bread into the egg mixture and turn to coat completely. repeat with the other slice of bread.
3. in a pan over medium heat, add the butter to melt. add the soaked bread to the pan (it may be really soft so be careful while moving it!) and cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. flip and cook until the other side is also golden brown. remove the french toast from the heat.
4. add one slice of toast to a plate and top with as much Crunchy Pistakio as your heart desires! top with the other slice of toast and a drizzle of melted chocolate/nutella and Creamy Pistakio.
5. finish with chopped pistachios and whipped cream and enjoy!
