PISTACHIO RICE CRISPIE TREATS

these pistachio rice crispie treats are like the grown-up version of the marshmallow squares you loved as a kid—but with a serious upgrade. think: that same gooey, nostalgic pull, but now with buttery roasted pistachios adding a hit of salt, crunch, and depth that makes you go back for a second bite before you even finish the first.

ingredients:
base:
- 4 cups The Real Cereal rice crisps
- 1/2 cup butter
- 10oz marshmallows

1/2 cup Pistakio
OG Creamy Pistachio Spread
- 2 tsp vanilla
- pinch of salt
topping:
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup pistachio spread
- 1/4 cup roasted and chopped pistachios
instructions:
- prep an 8x8 baking dish with butter and lining with parchment. start by browning your butter over medium heat, stirring constantly. this can take anywhere from 5-7mins, until deeply golden.
- remove from the heat and add your marshmallows, stir until melted and add in your pistachio spread, vanilla and salt.
- mix well before adding your rice crisps.
- mix everything well and press mixture into your prepared baking dish.
- set aside while you melt your chocolate and pistakio in 30 second increments, stirring between.
- spread over your base evenly and top with your chopped pistachios.
- let the chocolate set completely before slicing. enjoyyyy!
